As soon as I saw someone else's post with a picture of a box of gluten free corn dogs, I had to have one! I instantly craved a corn dog, something I hadn't had in over fourteen years. I looked at the two grocery stores I use most - none. They offered the brand but not the certified gluten free version. But then a friend, who recently moved out of state, told me, "my store has them!"
I arrived first. As Jade pulled her car into the garage, I followed with money in hand. We exchanged hugs and hellos before she reached into a cooler in the back, handing me the box of (corn dogs?) with one hand, accepting my cash with the other. I took my prize and drove off, passing Karen on the way out, who in turn surely did the same as I had.
What did that look like to service attendants as they accepted Jade's key before she set off to wait for her vehicle as yet another woman walked in with her cash in exchange for a box of (corn dogs?)
What's really in that box? they surely wondered.
Will I be buying more? Nah... my craving was satisfied :) They were fine - but not something I really "have to have" any more.
Note this symbol in the bottom left-hand corner of the box something I will be on the hunt for and sharing as I find more. Gluten Free Respect
